Our worlds are flooded with a variety of stressors, and our bodies are only built to adequately handle that tension for 60-90 seconds at a time… When feelings of tension are not balanced with feelings of relaxation, stress hormones like cortisol & epinephrine build up; creating a constant high level of stress & tension that get stored in the body! Holding onto this constant stress & tension eventually shows up in our bodies as disease: i.e. high blood pressure, anxiety, depression & heart disease.


This evening is designed specifically to RELIEVE you of stress & tension, as we heal from the source! Beginning with slow, gentle, fully supported movements; we prepare the body for rest and help the mind to quiet. The remainder of the offering will be dedicated to Yoga Nidra (a sleep-based meditation offering effortless relaxation). 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3 hours of sleep; reducing stress, improving cognitive function & memory while diminishing symptoms of anxiety & depression.
